WCC 1 – First Strike (World Combat Championship) was a mixed martial arts event held in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 17, 1995
The event featured an 8 man tournament that was broke up in to two divisions/brackets, Grapplers, and Strikers with each division having its own set of rules.
The winner from each would advance to the finals.

Grapplers Division:
22 minutes (no breaks)
All strikes and targets are legal (no biting or eye gouging)
10 minute time limit on the ground
Chokes and joint-locks permitted
Strikers Division:
22 minutes (no breaks)
All strikes and targets are legal (no biting or eye gouging)
2 minute time limit on the ground
No chokes or joint-locks permitted
Finals:
22 minutes (no breaks)
All strikes and targets are legal (no biting or eye gouging)
10 minute time limit on the ground
Chokes and joint-locks permitted
