Ricardo Demente, cel care a facut un meci senzational in finala impotriva lui Roger Gracie, la recent incheiatelor campionate mondiale de BJJ, a declarat ca o parte din succesul lui li se datoreaza lui Andre Galvao si Ronaldo Jacare. Acestia din urma sunt doi dintre cei mai titrati luptatori de BJJ din lume, si desi au ales de curand sa urmeze o cariera in MMA, nu au renuntat la antrenamentul cu kimonoul.
Iata mai jos ce a declarat Demente despre Galvao si Jacare:
„Jacaré likes training in the gi a lot and is always available. André likes training in the gi, but Jacaré is obsessed with it. He craves the gi.”
„André Galvão is gloriously technical too; he knows a ton of positions. I have to make the most of that and I’m enthused because there’s so much for me to grow with.”
