Eddie ne-a trimis cateva fotografii realizate dupa ce i-a fost inmanata centura neagra in BJJ, de catre Royler Gracie si David Adiv. Mai mult, a scris in blogul sau mai multe randuri despre experienta traita in SUA, iar unele sunt cu adevarat inspirationale:
„This is just the begining. My BJJ starts here. If i can be half the people/teachers/ inspirations, Royler and David are and can inspire teach and carry on the Gracie legacy through BJJ I have one regret… that I only have one life to do it in!
